The two sisters star in a cameos in the female remake of “Ocean’s Eleven,” a saga of white-robed thieves.
Kim Kardashian and his sister Kendall Jenner were chosen by the producers of “Ocean’s Eight” to make a cameos on the tape.
That is why on Monday night the sisters participated in the filming that took place in New York as part of a fictional gala of the Met, the prestigious event of the world of fashion organized by Anna Wintour, editor of the magazine Vogue. Kardashian and Jenner opted for light-colored attire. The first combined the transparencies with a fur coat in the same tone, while her sister opted for an elegant turtleneck dress and an impressive embroidery work.
On the other hand, the smaller of the media family, Kylie Jenner, also was photographed in the set of taxiing, but dressed in clothes much more informal, which suggests that it would not have participated in the project.
“Ocean’s Eight” is the remake of the franchise’s female characters about a band of thieves who starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. The plot revolves around the plans of the criminal protagonists – played by Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna – to give a legendary blow to the most exclusive evening of the fashion sector.
The production will also feature other faces known as the model Adriana Lima, Anna Wintour herself and Katie Holmes, all of them presumably interpreting themselves.
“Ocean’s Eight” is directed by filmmaker Gary Ross, known for “Pleasantville” (1998) and “The Hunger Games” (2012) and has just released “Free State of Jones” with Matthew McConaughey as the protagonist.
The film is inspired by the successful series of films “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001), “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004) and “Ocean’s Thirteen” (2007) directed by Steven Soderbergh, who will appear as a producer.
These films, about a group of white glove thieves specializing in making spectacular cascades, were characterized by a choral cast and replete with top-notch Hollywood figures such as George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.
“Ocean’s Eleven” was, in turn, a tribute to the spirit of the 1960 film “Rat Pack”: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop.
In total, the “Ocean’s Eleven” trilogy grossed $ 1.124 billion in theaters around the world, according to the specialized website Box Office Mojo.
